Garbrecht Upolstery has been established since 1946 by Ernie Garbrecht. The last 28 years it has been owned & operated by a previous employee of Ernie's, Jim Rommelfanger.

As of January 2011, Thomas Dapper, also a prior part-time employee, acquired new ownership of the long running business ~ Jim wanted to retire as owner, currently working just part-time for Thomas. Jim will be his consultant, as Ernie did for him! Thomas looks forward to continuing on the trade & maintaining Jim and Ernie's great reputation of craftsmanship in furniture repair & upholstery!
